Bruce Designer Consignment
Digital Designer
Jun ‘23 — Jan ‘24
Taking into account the niche global audience that Bruce attracts, the website stands as a visual heavy, minimalist shopping experience for buyers seeking their next designer piece. Similar to that of the in-store experience, the site spotlights new arrivals and provides information on how buyers can consign items with Bruce. With fresh new photography including a consignment guide and store directory, the new site establishes a standard for the brand's digital presence moving forward.

Aesop Fragrance Comparison Tool
Global Digital Interface Designer
Nov ‘21 — May ‘23
The Fragrance Comparison Tool was designed to assist in customer decision making by providing comparison points between Fragrances, our most challenging product category digitally. The tool may inform the users purchase decision or prompt a store visit to try the scent in person. I was responsible for designing an accessible (WCAG AA standard minimum), useful and brand aligned MVP experience, aligning with the Creative Team, the Head of Fragrance, Creative Director Ai Kato and external stakeholders to ensure digital representation of Fragrance adhered to brand-wide visions for the category growth.

Aesop Category Page Experience
Global Digital Interface Designer
As UI Designer on the Category Uplift project, my role was to design a richer brand and product content experience that aligned with our retail approach and helped guide customer decision making to purchase on Aesop.com. As the voice for brand visuals alongside UX designers, I played a key role in maintaining design consistency with our Aesop Design System. I was responsible for presenting design decisions in communications with stakeholders, completing interactive high-fidelity prototypes for testing, UI specifications for developer handover, and adding all final components to our Figma Design System.

Aesop Eidesis Eau de Parfum Digital Campaign
Global Digital Interface Designer
My role for the launch of Eidesis Eau de Parfum was to design the digital campaign experience, balancing commerce opportunities, content from Creative and our UX standards while using only our existing module library for aesop.com. As my first digital campaign at Aesop, Eidesis was an exciting insight into product launch processes across global teams, along with the chance to work directly with the Creative and Marketing teams based in the London HO to bring their omni-channel vision to life in a digital space.

Aesop Poetry of Place Gift Kits 2022 Digital Campaign
Global Digital Interface Designer
The highest performing campaign of the year, Aesop Gift Kits are an annual thematic nod to gifting and opportunities to give. Each year the contents and packaging are conceptualised by theme. 2022 Gift Kits were based around global store locations, with an emphasis on the city surrounds at sunrise. With an orange colour palette reminiscent of sun, each kit was then based on an individual store. To translate this digitally we utilised a newly designed module from the Category Page project that features content alongside a commerce block, with ATC. This enabled us to succinctly display the 4 products with a short scroll depth.

Aesop Digital Campaigns 2023
Global Digital Interface Designer
With no designated designer for digital campaigns, I stepped in to design the experiences with the Content & Production team during my time at Aesop. This often meant extending my hours to work directly with the campaign team in London, receiving briefs and feedback first-hand. The digital campaigns often stretched from the home page to landing pages, category pages, product pages and sometimes special first-release pages. Designing these experiences was one of my highlights of working at Aesop, as a long time enthusiast of the brand and its products, I was honoured to extend my role for the opportunity.

Mirobolus at alter.ego
Exhibition Poster Design
Seoul, South Korea
2020
Hand illustrated, scanned and riso printed poster for Mirobolus exhibition at Alter Ego gallery in Seoul, South Korea. The brief was to create an aged/original poster from the Mirobolus Macadam Cie exhibition in Paris 1945 by Jean Dubuffet. This exhibition showed Kim Joeun's ceramic and illustrative works from July 15—August 29 2020.

My aim was to have the poster work in unison with the artists varied works, emphasising the hand work and value of craft in her refined, minimalist pieces. My poster too shows the processed outcome of hand craft in its raw form, being computerised and once again returned to its physical tactile state.

Grope the Dark Event Design with Rope Editions
Seoul, South Korea
Aug ‘20
In collaboration with Yewon & JY from Rope Editions in Seoul, we wanted to create a tactile sensory project in unison with an experimental sound performance. We set a short notice event date, with just around 1 month to prepare for the one-off experience. During our discussions, we agreed on creating an atmosphere that was verging on uncomfortable because of its unfamiliarality to visitors. The music would not typically be music, but more close to sound, and the design element be not all that clear as to its purpose. They would be cohesive because it would be up to the witness to decide whether to touch, listen, expect or feel at rest.
